About Acquit

Institutional standards.
Dedicated coverage.

Acquit coordinates cross-border settlement between fiat and digital assets for institutions, with clearly defined arrangements for the parties on each side.

How we work

Define the requirement.
Agree the route.

Each engagement begins with the institution’s funding position, destination and timing. Acquit then coordinates the banking, liquidity, custody and digital-asset settlement capabilities the transaction requires.

Before proceeding, every party should know who performs each role, where funds move and which conditions apply. That transparency governs our work, from first discussion to agreed settlement arrangements.

The structural constraint

Capital committed
before demand.

Banks and payment providers often commit capital before cross-border demand arrives, funding nostro and vostro accounts in advance. That commitment ties up capital and makes some corridors harder to serve.

Faster digital-asset transfers address one part of the journey. Institutions must still coordinate fiat funding, banking cut-off times, liquidity and counterparties.

Acquit is working toward settlement that allows institutions to commit capital closer to the point of need, reducing reliance on prefunded balances. Coordinating the fiat and digital-asset legs is part of that work.

This is a longer-term ambition. Funding requirements remain specific to each corridor and its counterparties.

Market context

Why settlement
timing matters.

For treasury teams, the relevant measure is when the beneficiary can use the funds.
