Legal & privacy.
How we handle website enquiries, your choices and the terms of using this site.
01 / Your information
Privacy notice
We use this notice to explain the current website and initial enquiries. We will provide separate information for client onboarding or transaction services where needed.
Controller and contact
For privacy questions or requests, email hello@acquit.cc. Please see the operator details below. We must confirm the legal entity responsible for your data before publishing a final notice.
Information you choose to provide
The enquiry form asks for your name, institution and work email so we can understand and answer your request. You can select a topic and add an optional message. We require the first three fields to prepare a useful draft; you can also contact us by email.
We prepare the draft in your browser. The website does not submit the form to an Acquit web server or save the form values in browser storage. If you open the draft in your email app, that app and its provider handle it and may save or sync it. Acquit receives your message when you send it.
Please share only the information needed for your enquiry. Do not include passwords, private keys, identity documents or full bank-account details in this form.
Website operation
This website loads its fonts and artwork from its own domain and includes no advertising pixels, audience analytics or social-media widgets. Links to other websites connect to those services only when you follow them.
A production hosting provider may process IP addresses, request times, browser information and security logs when you visit. We need to confirm that provider, its logging settings and processing locations before launch.
Purposes and legal bases
We intend to use enquiry information to respond, assess your institution’s needs and manage the business conversation. Our proposed GDPR basis for business-contact correspondence is legitimate interests in handling institutional enquiries. We must confirm that basis through a necessity and balancing assessment before adopting it. We will assess any separate legal obligations against the actual activity and jurisdiction.
We do not include newsletter registration or marketing consent in this form. If we introduce a new purpose, we will explain it and obtain consent where the law requires it.
Recipients, transfers and retention
To handle an email enquiry, the people responsible for responding and the relevant email-service provider need access to the message. We must confirm the providers, any further recipients, processing countries and safeguards for international transfers.
We must also approve retention periods or meaningful deletion criteria for enquiries, mailbox records and hosting logs.
Confirm the controller, lawful bases, recipients, international-transfer arrangements and retention schedule. Record any required representative or data-protection contact. The current website makes no automated eligibility or transaction decisions.
Your rights
Where applicable law grants these rights, you can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, restrict processing, object to processing or request data portability. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal. We may need to verify your identity and assess any legal reason to retain information.
You can contact the relevant data-protection authority about your concerns. For Switzerland, contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Where the GDPR applies, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant EU or EEA authority listed in the EDPB directory of authorities. For the UK, contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Changes to this notice
We may update this draft notice. We show the date of the current revision at the top of this page.
03 / Using the website
Website terms
These draft terms cover the use of this website and its enquiry tools. Any transaction or service is subject to separate agreements with the contracting entities identified in them.
Information and enquiries
You can use this website to learn about Acquit and contact us. An enquiry, email draft or website description does not place an order, reserve liquidity, open an account or create a settlement commitment. We must agree eligibility, service scope and transaction terms before any arrangement can proceed.
We describe our development plans as ambitions. You should not treat them as capabilities we have launched. Confirm current availability with us before making a business decision.
Permitted use and content
Please use the website lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code or impersonate another person or institution.
You may share links and use the information for your own evaluation. Acquit and the relevant rights holders retain rights in their names, logos, artwork and content. Third-party names and token symbols identify their respective organisations or assets; their appearance does not establish an endorsement or partnership.
External websites
Other organisations operate the websites we link to. Review their terms and privacy notices before using their services. We do not control their content or data handling.
Accuracy and responsibility
We aim to keep this information accurate, but availability, descriptions and plans may change. Contact us to confirm details relevant to your circumstances. Website content is for information only and does not constitute an offer, a solicitation, or investment, legal or tax advice.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or rights where applicable law does not permit it. We must confirm the operator, governing law and any further website terms before publication. Separate service agreements set out transaction-specific rights and responsibilities.

Our role and availability
Acquit coordinates institutional cross-border settlement between fiat and digital assets through banking, custody, liquidity and settlement counterparties. T-0 denotes settlement on the agreed transaction date. Availability and timing are subject to corridor eligibility, funding, operating hours, counterparty readiness, compliance review and agreed terms. Reducing reliance on prefunded liquidity is a longer-term ambition. Acquit’s coordination role does not, of itself, involve taking custody of client assets.
Each service is provided by the entity named in the applicable agreement, which also sets out its role and the permissions that apply. The authorisation of an execution or custody provider does not extend to Acquit.
Digital-asset risks
Digital assets can lose substantial value. Stablecoins may deviate from their intended peg, and issuers or other parties may restrict transfer or redemption. Other risks include counterparty failure, custody loss, liquidity constraints, network disruption, settlement delay and changes in law.
Blockchain transfers may be irreversible. Do not assume that a token, account or transaction carries bank-deposit protection, an investment-compensation guarantee or a guaranteed settlement outcome. The applicable protections depend on the product, entity and jurisdiction.
We must confirm the operating entity, authorised or exempt activities, permitted markets, service agreements and any additional mandatory disclosures before public launch. These website statements do not replace that review.
Questions
Contact hello@acquit.cc for company, privacy or service enquiries. We will identify the relevant contracting and service providers before any proposed transaction proceeds.
